Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-10-28
X's and O's is run by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us"). This policy says what we collect when you visit X's and O's or join its waitlist, why, and how to have it removed.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we keep what you give us:
- your first and last name, email and cell phone number;
- your favourite team, how much of a football fan you are and how you heard of us, if you tell us;
- whether you agreed to be texted, with the words you agreed to, when, and the IP address, browser and page you agreed from;
- where your first visit came from: the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source and utm_campaign) and the referring page.
When you try to sign in without an invite, we keep the email you used, so that we can invite you later.
Why we collect it
- to invite you to the beta, and to reach you about it;
- to choose whom to invite, such as fans of the games we are testing;
- to understand which links, posts and campaigns bring people to us;
- to text you about the product, only if you agreed to it.
Analytics, cookies and session replay
We use PostHog to understand how X's and O's is used. It sets cookies in your browser, records the pages you visit and what you click, and records sessions (session replay) so that we can see where the pages are hard to use; what you type into forms is masked in those recordings. When you join the waitlist, we tell PostHog your email and name, so that your visits before joining are attributed to you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use service providers to run the product, such as our hosting, our database and PostHog; they hold your information on our behalf and only to provide their service. A short note of each new waitlist entry is posted to our team's Slack, without your email, phone number or text consent.
Being removed
To be removed from the waitlist, or to have the information we hold about you deleted, write to support@xsandos.ai from the email you joined with. To stop texts, reply STOP to any text we send.
